The Motueka River at Tapawera

Tapawera is a picturesque village surrounded by snow-capped mountains deep in the heart of Tasman District in the beautiful Motueka Valley. Tapawera is central to 3 national parks: Abel Tasman to the north, Kahurangi to the west, and Nelson Lakes to the south. Tapawera is also less than an hours drive to either Murchison or Nelson, so it is a great central base from which to explore the Top of the South.
